The Registered Nurse Care Coordinator will serve as a medical/behavioral representative on the Quality Team, providing oversight and support to individuals with complex medical and/or behavioral challenges both in-person and virtually. This role involves acting as a liaison with the care team, assisting in developing and monitoring complex support plans, and supporting crisis intervention and risk management planning.
Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Iowa and have at least three years of experience in psychiatric, emergency, or substance abuse treatment nursing, requiring extensive knowledge in mental health/psychiatric nursing. Essential qualifications include being mission-oriented, having an attitude of learning, strong communication abilities, and experience with physical health disorders, psychotropic medications, and DSM-IV diagnoses.
