The primary function involves providing personal healthcare and related services to the client in their residence, ensuring a safe and clean environment while cooperating with the patient and family. The role requires assisting the patient with safe transfers, ambulation, nutrition, and accurately reporting changes and documenting care rendered under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Applicants must be a Certified Nurse Aide in Texas, preferably with at least one year of experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant, or completion of a relevant program. Essential requirements include the ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English, proof of current CPR and Hepatitis profile, and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively. Demonstrates interest in the welfare of ill and elderly. Proof of current CPR, and Hepatitis profile. Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.
