Provide care to patients with a wide range of complex, highly acute medical issues in a 16-bed Medicine Intensive Care Unit, utilizing advanced technologies and devices like CRRT and ECMO. Work under the supervision of a Critical Care Pulmonologist, collaborating with Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
Candidates must possess a current Connecticut RN License and be a graduate of an accredited nursing school requiring a BSN. A minimum of one year of acute care Registered Nurse experience is strongly preferred, though exceptions may be made for experienced RNs pursuing advanced degrees.
Current Connecticut RN License. Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required). BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire. Minimum one year acute care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred. In exceptional circumstances, experienced RNs with an ADN/ASN who are currently in pursuit of a BSN or MSN may be considered.
