The Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse will function as a clinical leader in GI care, managing patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction and disease in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, performing assessments, ordering diagnostics, initiating interventions, and assisting with or performing specific GI procedures under supervision.
Candidates must possess an MSN from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Missouri, and Nurse Practitioner certification. Required qualifications also include Missouri certification for Advanced Practice (if necessary), current BCLS certification, and 3–5 years of hands-on nursing experience, with clinical expertise or a strong interest in GI care.
