The role involves providing respiratory care to patients as ordered by a physician, adhering to established standards, which includes assessing patient health problems and needs. Responsibilities also cover developing and implementing care plans, maintaining medical records, and administering care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, including CPAP/VPAP setups.
Candidates must possess knowledge of homecare services and third-party reimbursement, along with excellent skills in communication, documentation, customer service, organization, prioritization, and critical thinking. Required qualifications include an Associate Degree, Registered Polysomnography Tech certification, and a New Jersey state professional license, with NY and PA licenses being preferred.
