This role involves setting up, operating, and administering various respiratory care procedures for diagnosis and treatment in general floor and critical care areas, including evaluating therapeutic outcomes and transcribing physician orders. Responsibilities also include performing blood gas analysis, operating mechanical ventilators, assisting with patient transport, and performing routine respiratory treatments across adult, pediatric, and neonatal areas.
Required qualifications include graduation from a 2-year AMA approved Respiratory Care program and less than 10 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with 6 months experience specifically required for the Network float position. Candidates must possess an RCP license, RRT registration, and BCLS certification.
