Speech-language pathologists evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia issues, implement appropriate therapy programs, and communicate findings to patients, parents, and other professionals. They also support rehabilitation programs and maintain professional relationships across various hospital departments.
Candidates must possess a 4-year/Bachelor's Degree and hold the ASLHA Clinical Competence Certification in Speech Language Pathology, along with a Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist License and BLS Certification. No prior experience is explicitly required for this position.
