MRI/CT Technologist

Specialized Diploma Graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent 1 year of experience in CT and/or MRI. Ability to perform imaging examinations using established protocols through completion. Demonstrated proficiency in all areas CT and MRI. Ability to work in stressful situations. High degree of maturity and exercises individual judgment in working with patients, equipment, and personnel that are involved in MRI and CT exams. Ability to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, families, physicians, and nursing personnel. RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire and CT - Computed Tomography ARRT - State of Pennsylvania Within 1 Year or MR - Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT - State of Pennsylvania Within 1 Year or ARMRIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist - American Registry of MRI Technologists Within 1 Year American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
