The Counselor will lead 3 to 4 one-hour group therapy sessions daily using a structured, evidence-based curriculum and facilitate discussions based on approved modalities. This role also involves collaborating with other care team members, monitoring member progress, documenting outcomes, and supporting a recovery-oriented environment.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and an active behavioral health licensure in Kentucky, such as LCSW, LMHC, or LCADC, with the willingness to obtain reciprocity in other states. A minimum of two years of experience leading group therapy in a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) setting is required, along with high comfort level with technology.
$55,000–$70,000 annually *based on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum. Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework. Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches. Monitor member progress and document outcomes. Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members. Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.
Bachelor’s degree. Active clinical license or certification based upon state regulations CADC, LPCA, CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, LPCC-S, LCADC, LISW Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting. High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc. Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success. Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed. Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
