The Occupational Therapist will deliver evidence-based, quality care to empower patients to exceed their functional outcomes and establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs. This role involves building positive connections with patients, fellow clinicians, and team members while maintaining community relationships.
Candidates must be a graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program and possess state licensure in occupational therapy. Registration with NBCOT and Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association are also mandatory qualifications for this position.
As an outpatient Occupational Therapist, you'll work with patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and activities of daily living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.
