Pediatric anesthesiologists are responsible for delivering outstanding perioperative care to children from newborns to adolescents. They will be involved in a diverse case mix, including neonatal, general, and subspecialty surgeries.
Candidates must have Pediatric Anesthesiology Board Certification or Eligibility and a Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting. The position requires collaboration within a cohesive anesthesia team and shared call responsibilities.
Diverse pediatric case mix, including neonatal, general, and subspecialty surgeries. Supportive supervision model (3:1) with opportunities for hands-on cases. Shared pediatric call responsibilities among the pediatric anesthesia team. No obstetric anesthesia required. Some adult anesthesia is incorporated into this position.
