The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families, focusing on maintaining a consistent caseload and delivering evidence-based care. Key duties include conducting bio-psycho-social needs assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and completing all clinical documentation accurately and on time.
Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted license as a Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC and possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field. Strong proficiency in evidence-based practices and comfort using EHR and telehealth platforms are required.
Description Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC) Licensed Mental Health Therapist Compensation: Paid bi-weekly Master's Level Provisionally Licensed: $60/hr for intake, $55/hr for follow-up Master's Level Fully Licensed: $68/hr for intake, $63/hr for follow-up PhD/PsyD Level Provisionally Licensed: $87/hr for intake, $77/hr for follow-up PhD/PsyD Level Fully Licensed: $94/hr for intake, $84/hr for follow-up Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time Employee; Exempt Location: This is an in-person or hybrid position based out of Wilmington, NC Role Summary The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
Licensed Therapist Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license as a Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC in NC Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) Ability to provide therapy independently Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc. Experience in outpatient or group practice settings Clarity Counseling Center is a semiprivate practice with a huge culture focus, fostering an environment where play and connection are as important as the data and results we deliver.
