The Certified Wound Care Specialist RN serves as a clinical expert providing consultation, education, and clinical support for patients, caregivers, and staff in wound, ostomy, and continence care. They work collaboratively with the healthcare team and the patient's family to achieve expected outcomes.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Massachusetts Registered Nurse License. Certification as a Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (CWON) is required, with preferred certification in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (CWOCN) and at least two years of recent professional nursing experience in wound care.

Collaboratively works with all members of the health care team, the patient and the patient’s family/significant other to achieve expected outcomes. Practice is in accordance with Winchester Hospital’s policies and procedures and the scope of practice for Registered Nurses in Massachusetts.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Massachusetts Registered Nurse License. Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (CWON) certification required. Wound, Ostomy and Continence certification (CWOCN) preferred. At least two years recent professional nursing experience with wound care. Active membership in professional organization preferred.
Pay Range: $37.08 - $92.84 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
