The role involves independently performing Nuclear Medicine procedures, including the proper administration of radiopharmaceuticals while adhering to scope of practice and licensure. Responsibilities also include coordinating patient flow, managing departmental activities, and ensuring radiation protection practices are followed.
Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology and hold required certifications, including CPR within 30 days of hire, Nuclear Medicine registry, and ODH licensure, along with ARRT RT (R) and/or NMTCB credentials. While no prior job experience is required, one year in a specialized Nuclear Medicine field is preferred.
