The Medical Assistant or LPN is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care for approximately 30 patients per day. Key duties include rooming patients, collecting vitals, administering injections, and maintaining detailed documentation.
Candidates must be a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN with a high school diploma and graduation from a recognized program. Proficiency in EPIC EMR, ICD-10/CPT coding, and HIPAA laws is strongly preferred.
1. High School diploma or equivalent certificate 2. Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant, and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program. 3. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred 4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians. 5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. 6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment. 7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding 8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. 9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
