Responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, including rooming patients, collecting vitals, and scheduling endoscopy procedures. Duties also include maintaining infection control in exam rooms and managing clinical inventory supplies.
Must be a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN with a high school diploma and graduation from a recognized program. Knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding and HIPAA law is required, with EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred.
1. High School diploma or equivalent certificate. 2. Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant/LPN and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant/LPN program. 3. Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility is preferred. 4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians. 5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. 6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment. 7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding. 8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. 9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
