The role involves accurately positioning patients, selecting parameters, implementing radiation safety, and preparing for, performing, and assisting physicians with special procedures. Responsibilities also include preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the scope of practice while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Minimum requirements include obtaining BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire and a Radiologic Technologist credential from Indiana Medical Radiology Services within 180 days. Candidates must also possess either a High School diploma with 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
