The Resident Assistant is responsible for caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents, including assisting with activities of daily living such as wardrobe, hygiene, and mobility. Duties also involve aiding in daily tasks like housekeeping, transportation, observing and reporting changes in resident condition, and participating in resident programming.
Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and associates in English. While a CNA certification is a plus, it is not required, but experience with dementia care is preferred.
