Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and orthopedic radiographs while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Provide clinical support including patient triage, vitals, and basic patient care procedures in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiography and BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Preferred candidates have 2+ years of imaging experience and knowledge of medical terminology.
· Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety · Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to the radiology procedures · Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images · Triage patients, and provide basic point of care testing after training · Assist other staff members (Certified Medical Assistants, Medical Office Associates, Providers) as needed · Must be available to work evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel · Willing to become UDS, BAT, and/or DOT certified and performed related responsibilities · All other duties as assigned by Practice Operations Manager or Practice Administrator
