RN Staff - Cardiac Short Stay - FT - 1st Shift ($12,000 sign on bonus)

• Overview Maintains established standards of care, policies, objective, and goals in administering professional nursing care to all patients.
• The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs.
• The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes.
• The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.

Qualifications

Education required: Graduate of state board School of Nursing License, certification and/or registration: Current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License required. BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas based on patient population.

Experience

• Experience preferred; new graduates accepted
• Additional skills/abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently. Department specific competencies must be completed within the provisional period.
