Radiation therapists implement treatment plans prescribed by oncologists and collaborate with medical dosimetrists. They provide therapeutic and patient care services, monitor patient conditions, and ensure accurate equipment operation.
Candidates must be board certified Registered Radiation Therapists and hold current state licensure. Basic Life Support certification is also required, along with experience in radiation oncology and electronic medical records.
