Physical Therapy Assistant

• Nature and Scope The Physical Therapy Assistant implements patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary physical therapist to optimize the functional abilities and skills of patient's.
• You will works with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
• Instructs/Communicates with patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the supervision of the physical therapist.
• You will provide timely written documentation as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory and reimbursement requirements and support and participate in department operations and development.
• Sign on Bonus: $5,000.00 Location You may be requested to travel between the two offices situated in Quincy, CA, and Greenville, CA.
• Compensation Compensation Philosophy: We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience Compensation Range: $37.00 - $52.75 / hour Job Status / Shift Information Per Diem, Part-Time or Full-time Available

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an APTA accredited school physical therapy Current California Physical Therapy Assistant License. Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates respectful conversation in tone and content. Assures patient privacy. Actively involves the parent/guardian in care/teaching.
