The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients using therapeutic procedures to address deficits in self-care and daily living tasks, aiming to improve independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, instructing assistants, and participating as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must possess a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy with five years of direct practice experience, along with a current state license/certification. Demonstrated competency in applying occupational therapy principles, excellent communication skills, and adequate computer skills for documentation are also required.

Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and five years of direct practice experience. Current license/certification in the state of practice. Prefer current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board. Demonstrated competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in Occupational Therapy to the patient population served by this facility. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Adequate computer skills in order to complete required job duties and computerized documentation. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care. Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements. Promote the programs and services of Vertis Therapy through formal and informal interactions with the community. Perform other duties as assigned.
