The Licensed Mental Health Professional will perform diagnostic assessments and provide direct psychiatric therapy to individuals, families, and groups. They will also coordinate treatment goals with community agencies and develop treatment plans.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and current licensure in good standing from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. A minimum of two years of experience in a community mental health setting is required.
Performs diagnostic assessments, collecting diagnostic information, determining immediate treatment plans for patients. Requests medical consultation, where indicated, in a diligent and timely manner. Provides direct, intensive psychiatric therapy to individuals, families and/or groups identified as having psychiatric disorders. Coordinates treatment goals with community agencies, primary care physicians, court system, and managed-care entities. Develops RYC treatment plan and monitor, its completion and revision.
Education: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or a related field. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a community mental health setting. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
