The incoming physician will provide outpatient consultation and ongoing management for patients with various neurological conditions. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic duties, EMU service, and EEG interpretation.
Fellowship training in epilepsy is preferred, but candidates with a clinical neurophysiology fellowship focusing on EEG are also encouraged to apply. The position requires collaboration with a team of neurologists and other healthcare professionals.
This role includes general neurology clinic responsibilities, with ample opportunity to develop or expand an epilepsy-focused subspecialty practice. Core responsibilities include outpatient clinic, EMU service, and EEG interpretation. There is no emergency department call. Legacy also offers opportunities to participate in research, education, and leadership initiatives.
Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or the equivalent. Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency in Neurology. Licensure Board Certified in Neurology. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state. Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff. BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Assocation minimally required (ACLS may substitute for BLS). Please note: We are unable to offer J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorships at this time.
