Massage Therapist

About the Role

• As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical and mental well-being of clients through expert therapeutic techniques.
• Your primary objective will be to assess client needs and deliver customized massage treatments that alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote holistic health.
• You will work closely with clients to understand their health concerns and tailor sessions using modalities such as deep tissue massage, reflexology, and trigger point therapy.
• This role requires a compassionate and professional approach to healing, ensuring each client experiences a restorative and rejuvenating session.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification or diploma from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Valid state or regional license to practice massage therapy, where applicable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques including deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in reflexology, lymphatic drainage, or aromatherapy.
• Experience working in a holistic health or wellness center.
• Knowledge of complementary healing practices and holistic health principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience in client management software and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand health history, concerns, and treatment goals.
• Perform various massage techniques including therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, and aromatherapy as appropriate.
