The Medical Assistant functions as part of the nursing team, assisting licensed practitioners by providing and evaluating nursing care and coordinating activities with other healthcare disciplines. Key duties include accurately taking vital signs, performing assigned treatments and tests under direction, instructing patients on specimen collection, and maintaining accurate charting of all actions.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, current CPR certification, and preferably prior experience in a medical office setting, especially pediatrics. Current Medical Assistant certification/license is preferred, and the candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish and capable of working with minimal supervision.

High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. Current Medical Assistant certification/license preferred. Current certification in CPR. Prior experience in medical office setting preferred. Pediatric experience preferred. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). Must be able to perform duties with minimum supervision.
