Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, the technologist performs diverse, complex, and diagnostic technical radiographic (CT) assignments requiring theoretical insight and experience. The role involves exercising complex skill and judgment in the principles and methods of the radiographic technical field.
A minimum requirement is an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiology Technology from an AMA-approved school, along with an active NYS license. Preferred qualifications include ARRT certification in CT and one or more years of Radiologic Technology experience.

Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, performs with minimal supervision a diversity of technical radiographic (CT) assignments, diagnostic and complex in nature, which require theoretical insight and experience. Exercises complex skill, judgment and knowledge of the principles and methods of the radiographic technical field. The CT Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Call may be required.
AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiology Technology in AMA approved school.
Registered CT specialist or one year additional training at AMA approved school in CT.
License: NYS license
Certifications Required: ARRT
Certifications Preferred: ARRT certification in CT
One or more years of Radiologic Technology experience.
