The Homemaker provides direct services to clients as specified on the Request for Services form, including assistance with homemaking, personal care, home care, and meal preparation according to instructions. Essential duties also involve running errands, maintaining accurate service records, and reporting any significant changes in the client's well-being to the supervisor.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and complete Home Care Training, with prior experience in direct care for the elderly being preferred. Applicants are required to have their own transportation, a valid Driver's License, and must pass a TB Skin Test, Criminal Background Check, and Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
Summary The Homemaker will be responsible for providing direct services to clients as outlined on the “Request for Services” form. These services are defined in the Home Care Regulation of the State of Kentucky and the Title III and Homemaker definitions of the State of Kentucky.
