Minimum requirements include obtaining BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire and possessing a Medical Assistant certification prior to the start date. Candidates must have either a High School diploma/equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Welcoming and interviewing patients, accurately measuring and documenting vital signs, and preparing examination rooms to ensure a smooth, comfortable visit. Assisting with treatments as directed and supervised by the providers Performing select clinical duties and providing essential administrative support, including managing patient records, answering calls, and handling necessary charting. Documenting provider-patient encounters, meticulously listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribing patient orders for lab work, testing, and medications.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional preferences we're seeking One year of medical assistant experience is preferred.
