The Radiographer performs diagnostic imaging under physician protocol while ensuring patient safety and care. They adhere to safety standards and maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology and appropriate certification. Experience as a registered x-ray technologist is preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
Will consider new graduates A Brief Overview Performs diagnostic imaging at the direction of physician protocol. Provides compassionate age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
Education Qualifications Associate's Degree Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Required)
Experience Qualifications 2+ years Registered x-ray technologist with 2-5 years' experience. (preferred) Will consider new graduates Proficient at instructing new staff (preferred)
Skills and Abilities Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system. (Required proficiency) Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills and excellent customer service skills. (Required proficiency) Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including C-arms, portables, and various computers (Required proficiency) Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills. Licenses and Certifications Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) American Registry of Radiological Technologists (Required Upon Hire) and Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT:R) Ohio Department of Health (Required Upon Hire) and Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)
