This role involves assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by operating specialized x-ray and physiological equipment during invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, maintaining sterile techniques, operating and maintaining Cath Lab equipment like C-Arm and injectors, and completing necessary documentation for all procedures.
Candidates are required to hold American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification and a state Radiologic Tech license, along with current CPR/BLS certification, with a Fluoroscopy license required within six months for California hires. While an Associate's Degree and one year of catheterization experience are preferred, the posting strongly emphasizes 2+ years of Cath Lab experience for consideration, alongside critical care experience for certain incentives.
