ITCD Specialists model integrated treatment skills, train staff in evidence-based practices, and are highly involved in developing and amending treatment plans. Family Therapists gather detailed family history, work with individuals and their support systems, and provide family therapy sessions.
The ITCD Specialist requires a Master’s level with licensure (QMHP) and at least one year of experience in substance use disorder treatment, or board qualification as QSAP with relevant training/supervision. The Family Therapist must be licensed in Missouri as an MFT or hold a Doctoral/Master's degree in a related field with specialized family counseling experience and supervision.
Integrated Treatment Specialists work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, modeling integrated treatment skills and training other staff in evidence-based practice principles and practice.
Gather a detailed history of family dynamic, work with individuals and their support system on creating a strong bond and positive environment for supporting the continuation of the relationship in a progressive way.
Licensed in Missouri as a marital and family therapist or Certified by the American Association of Marriage and Family therapist; or Has a Doctoral Degree or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling, and has at least one year of supervised experience in family counseling and has specialized training in family counseling; or has a doctoral degree or master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling and received close supervision from an individual who meets the above requirements; or is a degreed, qualified addiction professional who receives close supervision from an individual who meets one of the first 3 requirements.
