The Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant supports the Staff Occupational Therapist by providing direct patient care and executing treatment plans as directed by the therapist and physician. Key duties include accurate daily and weekly documentation, assisting nursing staff with training, and participating in discharge planning and family instruction.
Candidates must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state and proficient in computer skills, including data entry into programs like Casamba and Point Click Care. The role requires the ability to interpret technical procedures and policy manuals, along with physical stamina for frequent standing, walking, and exerting significant force to move objects.
