This position is responsible for the complete care of a quadriplegic individual, which includes specialized medical tasks such as catheterization and tracheostomy care. The LPN will also manage the use of a ventilator during nighttime hours.
A successful candidate must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) capable of providing comprehensive care to a quadriplegic client, including complex procedures. Strong communication skills are essential for working one-on-one with the self-directing patient in their home environment.
Direct Home Care - Private Duty Nursing/LPN Health Services of Northern New York is seeking an LPN for Private Duty Nursing. This position would be responsible for Complete Care of a quadriplegic person, to include catheterization, tracheostomy care, use of ventilator at night only. Client is self-directing. A successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be comfortable working one on one with a patient in their home.
