The role involves providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with socialization, health maintenance, and medication administration according to service plans. Key duties include aiding with daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, transportation, community integration, and accurate documentation of progress and incidents.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license in good standing, along with car registration and insurance if providing transportation. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with six months of experience in human services.
