The primary role involves taking diagnostic x-rays, specifically plain films and fluoro, while ensuring patient understanding and safety throughout the procedures. This includes assisting technologists with patient preparation, documentation, and maintaining a clean, orderly department.
Candidates must complete a Radiology Technology program and possess required state-specific licenses, including ARRT certification and Basic Life Support (BLS HCP). The role requires constant standing and walking, frequent lifting/moving of patients, and the ability to perform duties in a constant state of alertness.
