The CT Technologist is responsible for providing radiological patient care across all age groups, ensuring quality care aligns with departmental and hospital policies. Key functions include consistently obtaining diagnostic quality Rad/CT scans, operating equipment safely, and correctly evaluating patients for contrast media administration.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited program with necessary radiologic technology experience and maintain continuing education credits as required by ARRT and Texas State licensure. Required certifications include ARRT registration, Texas State Licensure, current basic CPR, and obtaining advanced CT registry within one year of hire if not already possessed.
The CT Technologist is responsible for radiological patient care from neonatal to geriatric ages. This position is responsible for related duties to provide quality care dictated by departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
