The role involves providing consecutive interpretation both in-person and virtually via phone and video, while strictly adhering to interpreter protocols, policies, and ethical standards set by Propio Language Services and its clients. Responsibilities also include maintaining strict patient confidentiality according to regulations like HIPAA and continuously improving specialized subject matter knowledge for various fields such as medical or legal settings.
Candidates must submit an updated resume in English, be at least 18 years old, and possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent along with intermediate computer skills. Applicants must also have reliable transportation and be able to provide documentation for required vaccinations, pass a drug test, and successfully complete a background check and security screening.

We currently have a need for Onsite Contract Interpreters in the Columbus, Ohio area who have a sincere desire to use their language skills to help people and are passionate about what they do.
