The Ultrasound Technologist independently operates equipment to perform a variety of complex sonographic examinations. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, conducting specialized examinations, and assisting Radiologists during invasive procedures.
Candidates must have a current ARDMS license and be licensed in at least two of the three advanced disciplines. A minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography and current BLS certification are also required.
