Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for an Ortho Med Surg assignment in Pocatello, Idaho.

This role supports an orthopedic and medical-surgical unit focused on post-operative trauma and total joint replacement patients. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing post-op patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Compensation

36
Hours: Gross $1,950/week | W2 $22/hr | Stipend $1,246/week 48
Hours: Gross $2,390/week | W2 $22/hr | Stipend $1,246/week

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12
Hours: 6:45
PM to 7:15 AM
36 or 48-hour options available
13-week assignment

Unit

Details:
Ortho Med Surg unit
Adult orthopedic and medical-surgical population
Post-op orthopedic trauma and total joint replacements
10-bed unit
Average daily census: 10
Patient ratio 1:5

Responsibilities

Provide care for orthopedic, medical-surgical, post-op trauma, and total joint patients
Administer medications including insulin, heparin, and PCA
Provide IV therapy and blood product administration
Manage surgical drains and post-operative care needs
Provide respiratory support as appropriate
Participate in rapid response and emergency situations
Document patient care accurately using Epic

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license required
Minimum 1 year orthopedic or medical-surgical nursing experience required
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
ACLS preferred
Epic charting experience preferred
Must meet 100-mile radius requirement
Locals are not accepted
Travel experience not required
