Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality, hospital-based care to diverse and complex patients within the Hospital Internal Medicine division, focusing on areas like Hematology/Oncology and Transplant Medicine. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Units, completing admissions and consultations, and covering cross-patients during 12-hour night shifts.
Candidates must be Master's-prepared Nurse Practitioners or graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program, holding current AZ licensure/certification, and must have one to three years of inpatient clinical experience, as new graduates are not being considered. Required certifications include active BLS and ACLS from AHA or Red Cross, and DEA registration, alongside demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
