The Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently, adhering to protocols to assist physicians in patient evaluation and treatment. This role involves verifying orders, recognizing and documenting pathologies, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures.
Candidates must possess 1-3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with 2-4 years preferred, and must be ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification or registry eligible. A requirement includes obtaining Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification within seven days of employment.
