include performing frozen sections, signing out surgical/cytology/peripheral smears, performing autopsies, and ensuring high-quality laboratory services through collaboration with clinical lab personnel. The pathologist will also support quality improvement initiatives and provide consultations to clinicians.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree, be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and be eligible for medical licensure in Hawaii. Preferred candidates have 3 to 5 years of post-residency experience, strong surgical pathology/cytopathology skills, and excellent leadership and communication abilities.
