The primary duties involve performing routine X-ray exams following Basic X-ray Machine Operator scope, ensuring image quality, and maintaining radiation safety protocols. Additionally, the role includes clinical support such as greeting patients, recording vital signs, collecting samples, and handling clerical tasks like scheduling and registration.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant certification/diploma, and specific licensure for Limited License in Radiography (LLR) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BXMO) from an accredited program. A minimum of one year of recent medical experience is required, along with current BLS certification and appropriate immunization documentation.
