The Certified Nursing Assistant performs personal care activities assisting patients with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, transfers, dressing, and preparing meals according to instructions. Responsibilities also include performing light housekeeping, accompanying patients on errands, and providing patient-specific supportive care like medication reminders and hospice support.
Candidates must possess a CNA license or HHA Certificate, with HHAs needing a badge from Palm Beach County, and must have a valid Driver License or State Photo ID plus a second form of ID. Applicants are also required to have CPR certification (not online), a recent TB test or Chest X-ray, pass a Level 2 Fingerprint Background check, and provide one letter of recommendation.
