Candidates must have EMR experience and fluency in various software packages, or at least one year of clinical Medical Assistant experience, as graduation from an approved school is an alternative. Essential qualities include excellent communication, organization, professionalism, eagerness to grow, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Proper intake of the patient (history and chief complaint) Documenting during the exam on our EMR system Assisting with Medical Procedures such as removing sutures, administering local anesthetic, and applying patches for allergy testing and transcribing reaction strengths Deliver patient education and documentation on disease, would care, medications, and pathology Reports and diagnosis. Properly conducting Prior authorizations for medications/sending medications to pharmacy as prescribed by Provider Schedule follow up appointments at the end of each exam Responding timely to messages sent by patients to you or the team (24 hours) Ensuring start of day/end of day tasks are completed Completing all duties in accordance with HIPAA and other medical regulations Other duties as assigned
