The primary purpose of the Nurse Extern is to carry out routine and assigned nursing tasks and assist the nurse with patient care activities within the scope of their training and experience. Externs will gain valuable clinical experience by working alongside Registered Nurses in the 2 North East Med Surg Unit.
Applicants must be a Sophomore level or higher Professional Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Candidates are also required to have experience effectively dealing with the public and must possess current CPR certification.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is accepting applications for a casual Nurse Extern with our 2 North East Med Surg Unit.
The externs will have an opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience and work alongside Registered Nurses.
