The Nursing Assistant I performs basic care duties under supervision, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and nutritional support for patients. They are also responsible for maintaining the patient environment and assisting licensed staff with related tasks.
Candidates must have completed four years of high school plus specialized courses or training, and must possess a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts or its equivalent, along with current CPR Certification. Three months of experience in an acute care or long-term setting is preferred.
Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintain patient environment, and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties, etc.
Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training. Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred. Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required. Current CPR Certification is required. Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range USD $19.37 - USD $26.80 /Hr.
