The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients, develops treatment plans requiring physician approval, and communicates progress to families, physicians, and the health team. Responsibilities also include conducting staff in-services, supervising assistants, and maintaining thorough documentation in medical records.
Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred) and must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state, meeting all continuing education requirements. Proficiency in computer skills for data entry into programs like Casamba and Point Click Care is also required.
